Protecting Livonia Homes From the Ground Up

Livonia’s neighborhoods, like Burton Hollow and Old Rosedale Gardens, have many homes built in the 1950s through the 1970s. These older foundations were not built for higher moisture conditions. Livonia’s dense clay soil, heavy rainfall, and freeze-thaw cycles only make the problem worse.

Clay-rich soil expands when wet and shrinks when dry, which puts constant pressure on foundations. This pressure can cause cracks, settling, bowing basement walls, or uneven floors. During storms or when snow melts, water often pools around foundations because the area is flat and the soil drains slowly. This can lead to musty odors, mold, damp crawlspaces, or leaking basements. Some parts of Livonia also have higher radon levels, making it even more important to fix moisture and air quality issues below ground.

Cut ‘N Dry Waterproofing helps Livonia homeowners solve these problems at the source with systems designed for Michigan’s climate and soil. Our goal is simple: keep your home dry, healthy, and comfortable from the ground up.

I am a first time home buyer and purchased my home around 7 months ago and unfortunately I had to deal with what everyone fears and had back up from the sewer line into the crawlspace due to a collapsed pipe. You can imagine how terrible the situation is. I was given a referral to Crawlspace Remediation. First of all I really appreciate how quickly you guys returned my call and to set up an appointment for the estimate. Joe is very knowledgeable and was very friendly to work with. All of customer service answered any questions and provided any information I needed for insurance which I cannot thank enough for how fast you guys work. The two techs, Brendan and James just did a phenomenal job on my crawlspace and I can't be any happier. They also took out the old water heater the previous owner had for a very reasonable fee and just saved me such a headache to deal with. I am so happy how this came out and cannot recommend this place anymore than I have to anyone in need for crawlspace needs.

Crawlspace Remediation LLC did a very good job. The remediators, Tre and Josh, were professional and polite. In addition, they did great work and answered any questions that I had. Besides that, they showed me pictures of the work they did immediately after finishing the job.

My crawlspace had a sewage leak and the man that gave us our estimate, Nick was personable, honest and frank about our situation. He worked diligently with us and the insurance company to get the situation fixed as soon as possible. He kept us informed and made sure the insurance company had all the information necessary to process our claim as quickly as possible. The work on my crawlspace was done by 3 men who worked even into the late hours of the day to finish. Ryan, Xavier and Isaac were diligent, polite, hard-working and informative throughout the entire process. I appreciated how nice they were to me, explaining the process as they went. If there is some way for these 3 individuals to be rewarded for their hard work and dedication, I hope they receive an extra day off or a monetary compensation for having done such an incredible job. Thank you Ryan, Xavier and Isaac. You all did a magnificent job!!

Jaiden, Josh, and Nick did a great job sealing my crawlspace and installing a radon mitigation system. The crew was clean, kind, and professional. I saw a large decrease in radon levels just a few hours after the installation was complete. Brianna and Brittany at the main office are super helpful and answered all of my questions. Very satisfied with the work done in my home!

Note: Some reviews mention our former names, Crawlspace Remediation and Radon Control Services. Both are now part of the Cut ’N Dry Waterproofing family of services.
